pls help me....h1 to h4

My i came US by using my H4. That time my husband was H1b. then 2006 i applyed for H4 to H1B. I got H1b clarification ( not approval). i thought its approval H1b. 2007 my husband renevaled agian his H1b that time i did not reneval my H4 i tought i can stay using my h1. Noe i came know that that H1 is nothing. So pls help to how to apply or late filing for H4.

when you came to US you got I-94 till what date that I-94 is valid?
if your spouse is on H1 status till what date his/her H1 is valid and till what date his I-94 is valid.

you applied H4 to H1 Change of status in 2006 did you got H1 approval notice? if you got H1 approval notice did you got I-94 attached with that?

Contact an immigration attorney, they can help you resolve this.
I know of another person with a similar case. I don't think it will be a big problem.

Did USCIS approved your H4 to H1 change of status or USCIS denied it?

Till what date is your I-94 valid?
when did you got that I-94?
if you have valid I-94 is that based on H4 ?
is your spouse still on H1 status?
it seems to me you came on H4 and got I-94 based on H4 and your I-94 based on H4 is Expired. if your I-94 is expired then you are staying Illegally in US.
if you dont know the above then let your spouse post here all your details or go to a good lawyer.
