I've heard even after 150 days passed we cant get EAD cuz we are already on the status! actually, I really want to work with my asylum EAD

That is not true. Please don't talk about topics you don't have enough information about.
Asylum seeker can get EAD card after 150 days on any status. If they use it they will lose their status.

Hello everyone,
I had asylum interview on July 21st, 2025 and received NOID on July 30, 2025. I mailed NOID rebuttal to Chicago Asylum office on August 08, 2025 and delivered on August 11, 2025. Today date is November 28, 2025. I am still waiting for final decision for more than 3 months. Is it normal wait? I heard people usually receive final decision within a month if there is a rejection is it true?. Please share your experience if you overcome NOID. Thank you.
