On June 17, 2004, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to an office in NEWARK AND TETERBORO, NJ for processing. Our office in NEWARK AND TETERBORO, NJ will send you a written decision as soon as processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office. Please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283 to receive information about local office processing times

did anyone ever know about people getting approve from local office without interview, after getting this message, or can anyone explain what does this message means

---- it means your file has been transfred to Local USCIS office for Interview, you will get Interview date notice 30-40 days advance of your Interview date and they will let you know what papers/documents you should bring it to Local office at the time of Interview. once case is transfred to Local CIS you have to attend Interview they are NOT going to approve it without interview

Received a similar message

Hi All,
I have received a similar email yesterday. It states that:

"On December 30, 2004, we transferred your I485 Application to Register
Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to an office in NEWARK, NJ for
processing. Our office in NEWARK, NJ will send you a written decision
as soon as processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing
you that your case has been transferred to a local office."

What happened to others who received a similar email?
Did they get an interview letter or was the I485 application processed without an interview?

I would really appreciate if someone would reply to this.
