EAD2003, it doesn't matter if you submitted those documents while filing for 485. Since 485 has been pending for a long time, VSC generates RFE's for some of the cases, in most of the cases randomly.
 
I saw two Dec RFE cases got approved today. BCIS received their RFE response on 6/30 and 7/3. They already got approved. What is going on with my case?

Rd: 11/23/01
Nd: 12/12/01

FP: 1/24/02
RFE: 4/24/03
RFE received by BCIS: 5/28/03

2nd FP: 6/30/03 online message doesn't change. Called FBI and my FP was cleared at the same day of doing FP. The result has been sent back to vermont service center. But the online message is still saying that they received my RFE response on 5/28/03.
 
Do you guys have the idea what's the percentage of RFE recently? My oberservation is about one third of people got RFE recently. Of these RFEs 90% ask for W2s.

I just received my RFE letter which requests 2 months pay stubs and medical exams for both my wife and me.

I've posted my approval in a separate thread, but like Maxx, I wanted to post it here as well for the benefit of the RFE expectants.

I was approved 7/16/03, and I got stamped today!

Just a quick update on my RFE. Still no approval. Just received a 2nd FP notice.

RFE reply received on June 2, 2003.
2nd FP scheduled for September 2, 2003.
 
BCIS only received one RFE?

Both my wife and I replied RFEs. But only one of the on-line status got updated. Does anyone have the same experience?
 
Just a point of interest: My online status was never updated with the second FP, or the receipt of RFE. They only updated it with the approval.

So online update process is flakey at best!

I didn't see this thread before, so I created a new one and posted my details there.

RFE-08-04-03 according to online/phone

My wife's still says FP recd June ....I keep calling my lawyer and they're just BSing. They haven't recd the letter yet and it takes 2 to 4 weeks to receive the letter... I am wondering how I can know the details for what reason RFE was generated. Do I get a copy for myself. Please share your experiences.

it takes about a week to get a Ref , only your lawyer gets a copy , dont worry , you will get approved soon , most of the time Ref , ( W2 , employment letter , pay stups)
