Hi All,

I want to share my happiness after my I-485 approved (semi concurrent). I received two magic mail this morning. I had my Fingerpring on 13th april 05.

LUD on 26th April with the message change. It says
On April 25, 2005, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready. My wife case is pending hope it will be done in a couple of days.

Thank you guys in this forum who gave me all useful information.

I-140 RFE : (exp letter) 20th Feb 2004
Responded to I-140 RFE : 15th Mar 2004
I-140 Approved : 25th Mar 2004
FP for Self : 20th Dec 2004 ( rescheduled it from 23rd Nov 2004 since she was in India on vac)
FP for Spouse : 21st Jan 2005 ( rescheduled it from 11th Nov 2004 since she was in India on vac)
Initiated inquiry: 28th March 2005 since the processing date is past my I-485 ND.
Went to India on vac : 8th Apr 2005
Received the magic email: 28th April 2005 while I was on India saying that mine and my spouse's is approved.
Entered USA: At the IAD airport on AP on 1st May 2005 without any problem and waiting to receive my physical approval notice.

Spouse will be coming here on 3rd May 2005

This Forum is Our support for the entire process . Today we go the Mail and online message changed saying that for me and wife card ordered and My son approvel mail .I hope soon card ordered for Him too .

My 485 is approved

I am silent visitor of this forum. This is really a great forum. About me , My 485 was approved on 4/28/2005. I only came to know about it yesterday. For some reason I did not receive the approval email. But yesterday the status updated to Card Order completed and mailed.
Thank you very much to all of you for all the support you provided. Thanks to Rajive S Khanna for creating this great site. I wish every one all the best. I hope every one will get their Green Card soon. Thanks again. Please let me know if you have any questions.

aprrox what is the processing time from FP to 485 approval> any ideas

I don't think it made a difference, but I did call them through the "tip" posted on the website. The case was approved the next day.

MY 485 was finally approved today.ND 140/485 oct 1st 2003.
My wife's 485 is still not approved...is it normal for dependent to get approved later? if so what would be the timeframe...
