Please! photo. I need help.

Just an FYI the other posts you have commented on wishing people luck are over a year old

make sure to run to run your photo through the official government website photo check to see if it meets the requirements

Also you still have several weeks to submit an application. The selection draw is random so getting it in early doesn't improve a chance of selection so there's no need to stress or panic. Take your time if you are worried about your application :)

I don't feel good about the background -it's no clean-

should I edit it carefully with PS to be more white and clean ?

Outside of cropping the picture to meet the size specifications, you shouldn't be using any kind of software program to enhance the picture. Take another picture if you're not pleased with what you currently have.

I'm only worry about the background! Does it look fine to you?

I actually haven't looked at the pictures as I feel at the end of the day, it's really your call. If you're not happy with it, take another one, there's plenty of time left. That's just my personal take. Someone else may look and offer a different opinion.

I had someone (else) ask me to look over a photo in a PM, and my response was that I was not prepared to take responsibility for judging whether or not a pic is acceptable - some posters may feel ok going with 'majority opinion ' posted publicly here though.

Yeah, I'm not going to make that call for anyone. It may sound harsh to some, but I do draw some lines.
 
I know it is not fair to ask you guys to validate a photo but I just need some input. Only realized when using the photo tool their is a slight shadow next to my husband's head, which is really not dark.........or do I want to think it is not too dark?????? Please see photo attached.

I've checked the photo validation tool as well, and according to that it is valid, but not sure which features the validation actually uses....maybe just validating the size????

It indeed has a shadow. New photo required.
 
I would take another photo to get rid of the shadow - that's just my opinion though as it is better to be safe than sorry

I definitely had a more significant shadow on my picture and still got selected so I don't know if it's the end of the world... But yes, doesn't hurt to redo it. :D
