I've been married since 2003. My husband filed for I-130 only. Now I'm waiting on the interview to be set. After I’m allowed entry to the US, will I be able to work. Also do I need to file for I-485 or can I just apply for the N-400? And if you have been arrested and convicted for battery is that going to stop you from being able to become a USC?? Can somebody please help me?

I assume you're waiting for an interview at a consulate abroad? In that case you will get a Green Card after you enter the US, and you'll be able to work the day you enter. No need for an I-485.

I'd be more worried about the criminal conviction for your Green Card.
