Hi Gurus,

My employment based 140 and 485 has been filed 4 months ago. I am planning to get married in a month or so. As my wife is studying for 6-7 months and can only join me after her final exams,

Can I apply for my wife's Consular Processing after my GC approval while she is abroad? or USCIS has to receive my wife's paperwork before my GC approval?

Is Consular Processing same as FB2 (which takes 4-5 years for the wife to come) or it takes around an year for her to join me in US?

Is the time taken by CP same as the time taken for 485/AOS from US?

In case I get married before my 485 approval but am not able to file her paperwork in time, what are my options to get her to US?

Absolutely.

No. I think you mean Follow to Join, and so long as you are married before you become a permanent resident she qualifies. If you get married even a single day after you become a PR she is FB2.

Can you please clarify it further that FTJ is not FB2?

How long does it take approximately in normal circumstances to get the whole process complete under FTJ? I am from Pakistan.

Is FB2 same that you file if you get married after you become PR?
