Please Help...Travel Question...NP or RTD...

Rtd

RTD is visa for USA in itself. They wouldn't deny you the entry if you have a valid RTD, it is as simple as that and because of RTD your status is right there on RTD and you get the entry as "Admitted indefinitely". I know people who do this on a regular basis.

are we different?

my point if we use the NP to traveling abroad and when we coming back we use the RTD are we going to have problems to get the citizenship?

And to get visas for some countries if you have RTD like france you can't get a visa, but if you use your NP you don't have problem (Green card holder)....I don't know what to do?

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

How about get a RP? You cant theoritcally have a RTD + NP. In application for RTD, it asks have you renewed your NP...

If you dont have a gc, you need to use RTD only. If france gives you trouble, go to germany, take a flight to france(no immigration check)..

Crash Course

Guys I need a Crash Course and advice on the following.

I am trying to help a couple of refugee families.

A very old lady and his son have NP and GC. Can they go to COP and come back without any problem?

If they have NP and GC, do they still need RTD?

Can they renew their NP?

Basicly, What is the safest way?

What are no nos?

Are they former refugees or asylees? If asylees, read my thread: "I had my infopass appointment today" from Feb 5th. This may not be the final answer, but gives you an idea about the polarity of opinions within the USCIS and the most conservative approach to international travel for the adjusted asylees.

They are former refugees, since they recently received their GCs.

I do not know for sure but I think that law is somewhat different in this respect for asylees and refugees. I believe they go through a different process while obtaining their refugee status. Your friends need to consult an attorney on this.
