Dear all,

I need some guidances on how to bring a family member to the United States on workers visa .Does anyone know what process is involved in this and if there is a way to facilitate it quicker.

Apply for an H1 visa next April and hope to be selected for next October. A company has to apply for the visa for you, and you must have sufficient educational qualifications (usually BS/BA). There is a lottery so its up to chance. The likelihood is higher with a US MS or higher. Also, there are some different visa categories for exceptional individuals with advanced degrees doing research (usually requires a PhD or other exceptional skills, O-1 visa) or people working for multi-national companies being transferred to the US (L-1). Without sufficient qualifications there is basically no chance to come here on a work visa. We have an already large enough unemployed, unskilled work force.
