I and my wife are traveling to India on June 10th for 1 month. I have H1b (expires on Nov 24 2003) and advance parole too. Whereas my wife came on B2 visa in May 2001 and now she got advance parole. I have some questions:-
1)Is it risky for her to travel to India?
2)What are the chances that they will give her a hard time while coming back?
3)What are the documents that we need in order to travel?
4)What if we get an approval notice or RFE notice while we are in India? What are it\'s consequences?
5)Is there a deadline to get our passports stamped, once we get approval notice?
6)How much time do we get to reply to RFE, in case we get one?
Please advise, dear friends. Thanx in anticipation

1)There is no risk in AP.
2)None. There is a possibility of secondary inspection (she will be taken to a separate office or a supervisor will come to ask some questions). That is normal for AP. She should not have been out of status anytime.
3)AP, copies of first page of AP, I485 receipt copy, passport...
4)No consequences. You can come back and do the stamping. At POE you might be informed about the approval and given a specific time before which you have to get the stamping. That is also normal.
5)I am not aware of any deadline.
6)15 days to respond to RFE. So find help or plan accordingly.
