Please Help Me: 3 questions on H1

My wife H1B will expire (her 6th year) in Dec 2007. I am applying a citizenship this week. I should get my citizenship in Dec 2007 *finger cross*. I plan to apply for EAD/GC for my wife as soon as I am naturalized. This usually takes 3 months (apply Dec, obtain EAD/GC March 2008), in the meantime she will enroll as F1.

My 3 questions, that I hope you are willing to help me answer:
1) If she enrolls for Fall i.e August 2007, should she enroll as H1 (domestic) or F1 (international), she plans to take evening classes while working.
2) If she enrolls as H1B for Fall Semester August 2007, and she got laid off, can she switch to F1 in the middle of the semester?
3) She is thinking of moving to another company (looks like she may get laid off :( ), can she use her H1B to work as a full-time contractor now? If so, what are the steps to transfer H1B?

THANK YOUUUU

1. Whichever she wants to go with. F1 might be a bit tough to get, though.
2. She can. But as I said, it might be denied as you are on LPR status. Never know til she tries.
3. as far as she has a sponsor, she can transfer H1 to them.
