Please Help, Adding husband on Asylum Application

I applied for asylum Nov 2006, and was denied by the immigration judge because of the one year rule. I am going for my Individual Hearing in 3 months. I have since gotten married and I wanted to find out if it is possible to ammend the application and add my husband at the hearing?
He is also from the same country as I am.

you can do this only if he is also in deportation proceeding.

I saw somewhere where it says you can ammend the application or suppkly additional info and evidence as long as it's pre-approval
