Please comment on my friend's H-1B situation

I have a friend that used to work in the US on her H-1B visa. she went back to her country for long vacation (6 months). during this vacation, however, she got another job offer. so she quit her first job and wanted to do a H-1B transfer. her H-1B visa stamp on her passport is still valid till 2008. her question is, can she come back on her old company's H-1 visa stamp?
does the custom call the first company and check if she works there?

For H1 transfer, person must be in the US and in valid H1 status working for the employer

only if she intends to continue employment for current H1 employer

Consider this possiblity. Employer has revoked H1 visa and this person says that he is going to work for this employer and visa is revoked.

Another thing: You need to have recent pay stubs for H1 transfer application.

--Others have posted and if the past company revoked her H1 by writing to USCIS then she will be sent back from POE. if she gets letter from past company that she is going to work with them she may enter
