Change in online status

received emails today for spouse & self...

"Processing for your Alien Registration Card or Green Card has been completed. Your BCIS document will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."

I guess this is the completed status all talk about in the plastic card process...my stamping was on 8/2/04
 
Hi All,

Current way of posting updates related to card ordering does not help much in tracking and predicting future processing times.
Can we all enter our information in a tabular format as shown below?
Each user can enter his/her details in ascending order of SD.
BTW this is how folks used to track H1B revalidation in Washington.

Each successive user can just insert his/her own information within the rows of information already entered before.
I have already added my details below.

SD - Stamping Date, SL - Stamping Location, CC - Card Completed
CO - Card Ordered, CM - Card Mailed, CR - Card Received.
N/A - for skipped status, ? - Pending

Where did u go for stampping ?

Do they take the original 485 approval receipt once they stamp the passport. Mine was taken by BCIS. Plz comment..\

Message updated on 16th Aug:
"On August 16, 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."

Hopefully will get the card in a month.

Yes, they do take the approval notice, whatever you take with you.

Interestingly status of my spouse who stamped on 07/19 changed today to "Processing completed" but my case status still says approved even though I did stamping on 07/16 :confused:

Yes - they do take it away along with all EADS/APs etc that you can give to them
