waiting for the physical card now. Message changed to mailed on 20th as u can see in my signature
 
Stamped June 21 at SJ (april 2002 case)
Card ordered July 21 (only for me not for the kid, spouse hasn't got stamp yet)

whats the deal with stamping at Newark, people are getting cards sooner than they can drive back home.

Hi

My I-485 approved on July 13. I got passport stamping on July 15 at San Jose, CA. Still waiting to change status for my I-485.

I see LUD changed for my EAD approval on July 21 and again on July 22. Any idea why ?

Online Case Status is still showing the same old stuff 'This case has been approved. On May 24, 2004, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed....'.
 
Anyone received card - ordered on July 19?

Hi,
Did anyone get the card which was ordered on July 19 or 20?

Primary applicant's card ordered on July 19 - but we have not got the card.
Dependent's card ordered on July 16 and received on July 20 th.

June 10th - Stamped

July 14th - Processing for your Alien Registration Card or Green Card has been completed. Your BCIS document will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

July 15th - On July 15, 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready

July 20th - On July 20, 2004, the card order was completed and we mailed the applicant's new card directly to him or her

July 24th - Card received

Looks like the card is taking its own sweet time to get mailed. No more
updates so far to my case. So I guess its going to take some time for
me. Anyone stamped at San Jose around 22nd June? Can you post
updates to your cases?
 
How do you find out progress on the card

After passport stamping, you track all the information on-line about whether/when the card is ordered and whether/when the card is mailed out to you? My on-line case status hasn't even shown the approval message yet. Thank you very much.

You are not alone, there are tons of folks who have got their stamping done and joined the long queue of waiting for physical card. we might have to develop another scanner or tracker to maintain the progress of the physical card wait. hmmmm
 
Fax Number?

Hi golumolu,

Do you know the fax number for inquiry on this issue? I got my stamping done and the status on line and on voice system is lagging way behind, therefore I have no way to track the progress on my plastic card.

My wife's card is mailed

For my wife....
1. Approval : June 18th
2. Stamping : June 22nd at San Jose
3. Completed : Never showed this status
4. Card Ordered : July 20th
5. Card Mailed : July 24th
6. Card Received : Pending

Status just changed to card mailed on 24th. So should be
getting in couple of days.

No change on my status so far at all. Still says FP received.
 
Update on my case. Looks like its taking 1.5 months at San Jose

For my wife who is derivative

3. Completed : Never showed this status
4. Card Ordered : July 20
