hey can anyone tell me how do u get the green card. Is it my ordinary USPS mai or by registered post. I got my GC stamped on april 10 and i am leaving to india on may 16 . So i am a little bit worried about this
 
About Photographs during PP stamping

To all,
       Was every one asked for photographs (Two) during passport stamping? To my surprise I was not asked for it and when I reminded them I was told \'not needed\'. Any one has any idea when INS ask for photos (Or Vice versa).
        Any One not asked for Photograhs during PP staming ??

I think we both went on same day in philly. I was asked photos. and also troubled me getting another set of photos. i got my card last week.
 
Thanks Insane- Thats why I asked others

I want to see is there any one else who was not asked for Photos during PP stamping.
Seems like INS don\'t have any consistent policy for this.
 
Card Ordered

Plastic Card ordered for me only as yet on May 7th.
My wife still has the old message of I485 approval playing.

Guys..who are going to Arlington INS for stamping:

Today I had my pp stamped. Went around 7:30am. The long reminded me of those waiting lines at Madras consulate. We stood in line for 2 hrs just to get the token. And after that it took another two hours. And actual processing time is

AD 3/29/02,
Approval Notices received on 4/5/02,
PP Stamped 4/8/02 (at SF),
Cards Ordered 5/11/02 (As per AVM),
AVM Changed on 5/13/02.

For two kids avm changed on 4/8/02 (cards ordered)
and cards received on 4/12/02. The envolopes has
from address of VSC and mailed from Corbin, KY
(Postal stamp on envolope).

Just heard on AVM my wife\'s card has been ordered on May 10th.

Have you guys given photos during PP stamping?
I also got my passport stamped in March , still waiting for plastic cards. I was not asked for photographs.
