Just an update guys,

Plastic Card received this week, was ordered last week.

RD 11/15/01
ND 11/30/01
AD Mid August 2003

Passport Stamped: August end 2003

Plastic Card: Received mid November 2003

This forum has been a great way to know the trend how NSC processes. Keep up the great work you all. I pray that may God continue to bless us all.

how do you know when ur card has been ordered?
my 485 approved in october. i have no clue when i'll get mine.
 
Just got notice from NSCS that I'll be receiving my permanent resident card within next 3 weeks. Now if that's true that's FAST!

You can you use receipt number and check the status of your case online. Usually when the card is ordred the message will change to "After approving your application on XXXXX we ordered you a new card. The card will be mailed as soon as its ready"
Thats how you can know that the card has been ordered.

Hi Guys

Please help!!! This is EB2 case

Is there ANYONE WHO HAS FILED AR-11 before geting plastic card and after getting passport stamped?

I am silentvisitor of this forum.
I got my passport stamped from Cleveland, OH(NSC) last week.

My company is moving me to NJ next week which is in VSC.
What will happen to my plastic card. Will it be Forwarded to my new address thro USPS if I give them my FW address
OR I need to file AR-11? Will my case be transferred to VSC then OR will NSC FW my plastic card to NJ?
Since I just got my approval, if I file my AR-11 just after 14 days of approval, will my GC not be in jeopardy?

I am not a lawyer...But, if you are moving no matter what, you must file AR-11 with in 10 days. It is an offense if you do not file the AR-11.

I do not think it affects your gc in anyway...you already got it approved!!!!!

my wife just received her welcome letter a few days ago. but i havent received anything as yet. i was the principal applicant. do i have to call and check with the uscis or something?
she got 3 letters, all the same welcome letter just notice date was a couple of days off, one for dec 1st and the other 2 for dec 3rd.
if anybody ever have this happen to them, let me know what you guys did. i would appreciate it.

Welcome letter for spouse & son

My wife & son also received welcome letters. I am the main filer and I didn't receive one. I am hoping that I will receive it in tomorrow's mail. Let me know if anyone has any idea..

Stamping: didn't ask to fill any form

Q for u folks
When I went for Passport stamping the officer collected Passport, EADs, APs, I94s etc., took finger prints.
BUT
did not ask me to fill out any form at all(Plastic Card Order form). Will this be an issue?

Anybody with same situation?

Got welcome letter

Got my welcome letter today. Local Chicago Interviewed and stamped 10/29/2003. Search for threads under my name for further details. Should get get the card within the next few days/weeks

Plastic Card -- Waiting

Was told that it will take 16-20 months to get a plastic card from Lincoln, NE and I may have to go for re-stamping after 1 year
