Planning on getting married and NOT live in the US.

Little background first, me and my fiancee live in Tijuana and we'll be getting married next January in the states (Vegas of all places ;), the thing is, I have a very good job that I want to keep, and also go to school here, so no need for me to apply for a GC right after we marry, would this present a problem if in the future she were to make a petition for me? Would it make it easier if we've been married for a couple of years before we apply? She works in the states but lives in TJ, she's a US citizen. I'm sure this isn't possible but I'll ask anyway, what if we wanted to LIVE in SD but I wanted to keep my current job in MX? is there anyway this could be possible? I have a BBBCV (DSP-150) visa.

What would be the best option for us? I've read a few possibilities, K1, K3, DCP? Please advice.

Thanks!

Do you know if I can still use my current visa AFTER submitting the ir1 petition? This might be the best option afterall... Also, my then wife woud not be required to attend the interview?

Thanks

Yes, you can attempt to use your visa after your wife sponsors you.
Your wife does not need to attend your IR1 interview, but her presence can only help.
