Arriving home about two hours after the naturalization ceremony I received a call from USCIS asking if I have attended the ceremony and if I received my certificate. Is that common? I took it as a courtesy call. Just wondering if this standard procedure or just a NY Office policy.

Is it an automatic call or a human call?
It was a human call about 2-3 hours after the ceremony. I was too ecstatic coming from the citizenship ceremony to have the presence of mind to even ask who's calling. Brief friendly conversation. Also this came on my 'home/evening phone' as listed on the N400 application and not on my cell (which was also listed as day and cell phone).
