Can you please post your timeline for Philly here?
Here's mine:
Filed mid March 2004 (I485, I130, I765) thru marriage to USC
Recipt date 4-8-04
FIngerprints and Biometrics:5-5-04
We never received a social security card, but they are required to issue it 90 days after filing date, so we went to the local social security office and received one through them, we had to go there around 3 times, because the first time they lost all of our paperwork, we got it around early September.
As for a drivers license, our lawyer told us that there is a new law requiring the state to issue one once you have your EAD card, however they wouldn't issue one till we had the social security card.
NBC(Missouri) still hasn't processed our I765 which is very unusual for Philadelphia timelines according to our lawyer, but we went to our local processing center and they issued a temporary one which is now expired, it wasn't for the full year, which is what we paid for, and they won't extend it and we can't file an extension since NBC never processed our original application.
Now we are waiting for our interview, our lawyer says compared to her other cases, we should receive a letter soon and be scheduled in Feb 2005, but we are still waiting.
Something really interesting is that I recently called NBC and they told me my 485 case should be sent to my local office very soon, as they are now processing the dates right around my filing date. The website says for Philly, I should be waiting another 7 mos for my interview, but I went and talked to my local office and they said that once they receive the file from NBC, I should get an interview notice immeditaly unless there is a problem with the case or missing paperwork, this I do not anticipate.
So we are waiting, it seems long because we can't file for advanced parole since the visa was expired for over 180 days when we filed which according to the new law means if we leave while application is pending we risk no re-entry into the US and/or being exported for 10 years after receiving the green card.
Please post your PHILADELPHIA timelines here. Thanks!
