on the site they have updated the date to May 2002.
but atleast i haven't seen a case processed after Dec 2001

might be we will see in a short time......

It was a surprise for me this morning to hear that my LC got approved from Philly DOL. I was not aware that my case was moved fom Philly SESA to DOL. I was following this forum and this update might be helpful.

Labor Subtitue.

Hi,

I joined this company which filed a LC ( RIR )on April 2002 for somebody. Since that guy left the company, they want to subtitute me for that LC. The skillsets and position name are same.

But i have masters degree but the LC filed for someone with Bachelor Degree. Is that a problem? I think they filed EB3 RIR. Since i have master degree,,, can i still go for EB3... or is there a way to change to EB2 later???

Also, its filed in Philadelphia on April 2002. The web site now shows that current SESA processing date is May 2002. Does that mean that decision on this LC has been already sent to Employer?

When i asked the lawyer he says the date in Web site is not always right and it depends on the case.

One more question. What are the risks involved when filing as RIR case?

My case has been moved from Phil-SESA to DOL on 21 April, 2003.
Filed on March-2002, EB3-RIR
 
My case was filed in Phily SESA around mid of
June 2002(RIR, EB?).
Anybody has any idea how long do I still need
to wait to my case transferd to DOL ? Thanks
 
it should have been moved to DOL.

worst case should be that you will hear something in next one month.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on with the NON-RIR cases from Philadelphia ... The dates seem to be stuck at April 2001 for so long now !!
 
What happens on approval

Can any of you please tell me/us what happens when SESA approves the Labor. Do they send a letter to the applicant/lawyer informing the status ?

My labor was applied in March 2001 so I'm getting a little anxious now.

Case moved to Philly DOL on May 21

Finally I heard it from the Philly DOL AVM system that my case has been moved there and the information was entered on May 21. My priority day is April 1, 2002.

Does anyone know the phone no. for Philly SESA?

My Labor was filed in EB3 RIR on 2oth Dec 2001. Still not received by labor.
