Under my knowledge,
It seems to be TRUE.

Here's my case.
I found my case in theAVM at 06/12/2003.
But, I could find my case in the e-mail 06/16/2003.
After I found my case in the AVM, I sent at least:)D ) 10 e-mails a day even in Sunday, but I could not find it until 06/16/2003.
I tried with case number and company's phone number.
Neither found my case in the e-mail.

Guys,

Is there any way to find out our case number (Other than checking with lawyer or employer) ?

thanks
phguy

Can you guys call 215-861-5250 and press opt:6 and let them know its not working. I already did it. All you have to do is leave a VMS for Officer.

PHGUY,
Please go thru last 15 pages in this thread, you may
see an answer.

random check.

I did random check with case number through the e-mail.
Last case approved is 03390057

'allsucks' did similiar check Jun 19 2003.
The case was 03389200(Status posted on Jun 18 2003).

Based on this information,
They processed 850+ cases in 10 business days.:D

Not bad.;)

yhcheong,

I strongly believe approvals are based on Dol-code, each code has its own priority. My DOL-code is approx 600 numbers less than 03390057 and I know 10-15 cases next and before me are not cleared.

I wish I was wrong but its truth.....

Sorry to hear that.
I didn't know that. I thought they are working based on case number.
I hope see your approval soon.

Dear Guys,

my lawyer gives the list of case numbers filed from my company but can't specifically give my case number.
They were saying that they couldn't find my case number.
is this true???
I am just wondering how could we find out?

I know there are some DOL expert Gurus here who can answer this question.

thanks and really appreciated your reply.

I guess there is no way to know for sure which case belongs to who as the cases are not stored with the applicant names. (Thats how labour substitution works). You can make a best guess using your DOT code , date of application , salary etc.

Any May approvals guys ? Any luck with AVM ?

The AVM hasn't worked for me in about 3 weeks (its either busy or rings about 15x then I get the "your party is not answering..." message). I've probably been trying it a few times per day on average. It does sound like a few people have got through though.

The email system has worked the last 3 times I've tried it (over the last 5 days or so) including about 15 minutes ago but I'm not sure as to how current it is.

AVM

I called up DOL today and spoke to a very friendly lady. I have complained about the AVM. She said she will look into it and let the concerned people know.

Guys,
I almost lost my finger prints dailing Dol. Hope they are in vacation
and will rtn soon. Good work slow_lc.

PM.
