Hemant2001,

You got keep one thing in mind. From state-to-state SWA processing time differs. I believe it’s mainly based on workload and infrastructure. For e.g. My case was filed from WV it took 7 months to clear SESA, but I know couple of friends filed 3 or 4 months after I did it took close to a year to clear SESA. In state of DE, VA, PA it’s a different story. At one point I did some research to sync up between SESA processing time and DOL processing time, based on what I understood?

It seems like SESA uses FIFO technique to process LC applications. But DOL seems to come up with a new technique SISO (Shit In Shit Out). The way I see it DOL has been really successful in implementing this technique.

Like they were processing the cases in the order they received.
But here it is completely different story, As we have seen several approvals from Oct, 2003. There was some sync up between the SESA declared date and the approvals.
This is my concern.

You got bit confused. Receipt Number is different from DOT Code.
The one you're referring to '034XXXXXX' must be your Case/Receipt Number.

'030', '033' is first three digits of DOT code.

Pennsylvania is planning to transition all Foreign Labor Certification (FLC) activity from the Philadelphia FLC Processing Unit to the Harrisburg FLC Processing Unit. Employers are also encouraged to recruit workers by entering their job orders directly into the PA Careerlink on-line system by using the PA CareerLink web site www.PACareerLink.state.pa.us . All the application will get through the system quicker if it is complete and that all appropriate documentation is included.

Beginning on April 15, 2004, FLC applications for jobs located in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties should be submitted to the Harrisburg Processing Unit. The Pittsburgh Unit will still be responsible for processing cases from Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Fayette, Forest, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Warren, Washington and Westmoreland counties.

As of April 15, 2004, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will have two Foreign Labor Certification (FLC) Processing Units to ensure high quality customer service throughout Pennsylvania.

What is Foreign Labor Certification (FLC)?? Is it the same labor certification or a different category?

Updated DOL Tracker Spreadsheet..

Hello Everybody,

I did some clean-up work to our old DOL-TRACKER excel spreadsheet and came up with an Updated-Philly-Dol-Tracker excel spreadsheet file. I’ve enclosed the updated spreadsheet for your kind perusal. Please take a minute to see through and make sure everything is adequate. If you see any discrepancy, please let us know one of us will update it.

In past we had some difficulties in maintaining the spreadsheet.
We had too many versions of spreadsheet flying around. Here is my suggestion to overcome that issues. If someone like Add/Update there data please post your case details on the forum, every evening one of us will update the spreadsheet. In that we will be overcome our issues in a well-optimized manner.

P.S. I deleted some old cases and highlighted recently certified cases. All the cases are sorted by receipt date.

Any suggestions are welcome.

I bet most of May, June, July RIR cases are processed, but the applicants just moved on to the next phase? I didn't know, what to do with it? So, I just left it there.

If anyone out there has some information, please keep us all posted.
