Hi All, just a quick update that the cert paper was received by the attorney today.

Atleast 10 cases before & after mine are either certified/withdrawn. :confused:

Is it normal to receive only one original copy of your Form 750 A&B with your NOF?. I recall that my employer sent two copies with original signatures but with the NOF only one copy came. The NOF wants the changes to be submitted in two copies. Any suggestions.

Proof of successor in interest

Friends, for me its time to file for H-1B extension again (was hoping to get a 3 years extension but doesn't look like labor is coming anytime soon).

My company's technology department (of which I am a part) has been taken over by another company. The old company minus the technology department still exists. I am currently on an H1B from the old company and the need to extend my H1 through the new company. What kind of documents do I need to submit to prove that the new company is a "successor in interest" for the old company's technology department? Has anyone been in a similar position? Can someone also suggest a good lawyer for taking care of such a situation?

Please don't be surprised

No sign of the certification letter after more than 3 months. Totally gave up on chasing them. PBEC is a black hole.....!

Just like you I am waiting too and I see cases behind me and after me certified. Just recently there wer 6 cases certified around me of which one was the one right after me.......wonder when my turn will come.

Hope we all get through this some how, i really don't want my wait to add up to 6 years which is not too far, considering the BEC pace.

My case details
CA EB2 RIR
PD Nov 8 '02.

My case showed certified since September 10th. My attorney received approval letter yesterday. The LC approval date was Aug 21. It took them 3 months. I am not sure if it had any bearing but I used to fax the PBEC twice a week regarding not getting approval papers. I cannot be sure if that had any effect or not but I would suggest that you try that approach too. All the best.
