Finally the online status shows "Certified". Details are in my signature. How long do you think that I have to wait to receive my hardcopy in the mail?
 
Got a query

Guys,

My employer has received a query asking a letter from the client about the current project regarding my LC. Did any of you guys got a such query? If so what exactly you have submitted, could you please let me know.

Any idea from Guru's is really appreciated.

I don't think they would need a current H1 stamp to stamp H4 visa. BTW, are you within 6 years of H1?

I think the H1 stamp would apply only for first time H4 applicants. If you have an expired H4 they would just like to see H1 holder's I-797 etc.

My wife is leaving for India in about a week. I have an expired H1 stamp in my passport and she has an expired H4 stamp. Is this going to be a problem?

Here's what I found on Us Embassy site(New Dlehi)


H-4, L-2 & O-3 Visas: Spouse/Children

Together with the mandatory documents, you must bring the following supporting documents:

If you apply for your visa with your spouse

Original marriage registration certificate
Wedding ceremony photos and wedding invitation. At least five, but no more than ten, of each
Original birth certificate for each child

If you apply for your visa separately

Bring all other supporting documents required for the H-4, L-2 and O-3 visas. (See above)
A good quality photocopy of your spouse's passport -- all 36 pages -- that must include a copy of their valid U.S. visa. The copied pages must be readable and the photo must be clear enough to allow identification
Copy of the your spouse's Form I-797, Notice of Action, Form I-129 and Labor Condition Application (LCA), if applicable
A copy of each of your spouse's work experience letters
A letter from your spouse's employer that describes your relationship with your spouse and your purpose of travel
A copy of the letter from your spouse's employer that confirms their plan to employ/train your spouse and that outlines his/her proposed duties
Pay stubs from your spouse's current place of employment and a recent income tax return

Is there any time limit on NOF for sending reply to PBEC. If yes, then in how many days do our lawyers have to respond to PBEC with the answers.

My lawyer is in hybernation mode. Please suggest the time frame.

35 days from the day NOF was issued.

What do the numbers above represent? Are they # of regional cases pending at BECs with a specific PD? In this case, what is the source of the above info?

I think June 04 will be reached by mid to end of december. Again, that's only if PBEC follows the trend they are on right now and if they stick to their unwritten policy of approving problem-free cases. If your case fall into the potential problem category (for which criterias are not define) it might be longer.

Yes, we had discussed about this 1 yr back. Probably you are new member. Before BEC, Govt used to publish every year cases on website. You can download that database. I am not sure, still it is there..

Labor Received

Just now received the call from the attorneys that they received my labor certification on Thursday Evening.
 
It was 7th year extension.

raboy... let me ask you the same question that clzeus10 asked.. where you on a 7th year H1 or was it within the 6 year H1 limit. Just to see if there is a pattern of approval..
