Hi,
Yes I need to remove my temporary card and get permanent card. So I realized my goof up..I thought I had to apply ONLY AFTER the 90 day period. I realized this recently and posts from BribeAl confirms it as well.
So my expiry date on GC card is 8/2/2010 - I am assuming the 90 days from this date correct ?
I am almost done with collecting the documents baring my "Affidavit of Support"
Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by at least two people who have known both of you since your conditional residence was granted and have personal knowledge of your marriage and relationship. (Such persons may be required to testify before an immigration officer as to the information contained in the affidavit.) The original affidavit must be submitted and also contain the following information regarding the person making the affidavit: his or her full name and address; date and place of birth; relationship to you or your spouse, if any; and full information and complete details explaining how the person acquired his or her knowledge. Affidavits must be supported by other types of evidence listed above.
1)
I am trying to find any template for that and whether I can go to a notary person to get this done? (I found one link -
http://www.geocities.com/ben_jennie/I751/affidavits.html) now my question is when we get affidavit from a couple (F1 visa) does it count as one affidavit or two ?
2)
Do I need to do anything else (file an additional form) like a temporary provision during the period when temporary Green Card expires and permanent one has not arrived yet.
For travel, work purposes etc. ?
