Hello,
I have in the process of applying for permanent green card. I have the temporary green card. Can anyone please direct me to the steps for applying for the physical green card.

I saw the links for applying for green card for first time but couldn't find the site for physical green card.

Thanks in advance

If you want to remove the conditions of a 2 year GC (marriage base), you need to send form I-751 90 days before your card expiration date.
Good Luck!

105 days are remaining - pretty close!!

Hi,
So I realsed my goof up..I thought I had to apply ONLY AFTER the 90 day period. I realized this recently and posts from BribeAl confirms it as well.

So my expiry date on GC card is 8/2/2010 - I am assuming the 90 days from this date correct ?

I am almost done with collecting the documents baring my "Affidavit of Support"

1)
I am trying to find any template for that and whether I can go to a notary person to get this done?

2)
Do I need to do anything else (file an additional form) like a temporary provision during the period when temporary Green Card expires and permanent one has not arrived yet.
For travel, work purposes etc. ?

Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by at least two people who have known both of you since your conditional residence was granted and have personal knowledge of your marriage and relationship. (Such persons may be required to testify before an immigration officer as to the information contained in the affidavit.) The original affidavit must be submitted and also contain the following information regarding the person making the affidavit: his or her full name and address; date and place of birth; relationship to you or your spouse, if any; and full information and complete details explaining how the person acquired his or her knowledge. Affidavits must be supported by other types of evidence listed above.
