PERM Rejected Twice!

My PERM petition has been rejected twice. 1. due to a date and the second one because the INS could not contact anybody at my work place The reason is stupid to me... I work for a private school. The school has a receptionist during school hours!!!
How many times can I apply for PERM? I am bitter at this point and really frustrated...I am starting to doubt the efficiency of my lawer as well...

Is there somebody out there that went through the same and got it approved? That will be a hope :)
What are my chances? If any...How a CPA can help you file for PERM? Somebody mention to me they are better than lawyers...!

Better, learn to hire an efficent attorney. Did you hire this attorney? or your private school hire this attorney?

The INS could not contact anybody, i have that problem too. They send a questionnairre after u file PERM. My lawyer dropped the ball and my employer too. So I am looking for a good attorney. My employer says he never received the email from INS.

INS doesn't exist any more. And the INS's successor agency, the USCIS doesn't handle PERM adjudications.

You need to calm down, hire a good attorney and make sure that your employer's point of contact with the DOL has email access, and that he or she checks email on a daily basis. You will probably have to refile the application, because your prior applications, if any, are very likely to have been rejected by the DOL. Its an automatic rejection if your employer doesn't respond to DOL's email or phone call; usually there is an email from the DOL within 24-48 hours of filing the PERM application.

Does it mean that if the HR has not gotten the email from DOL yet, PERM application has not been filed yet?

usually there is an email from the DOL to your employer once the application is filed.

i have heard that there are some cases where the email doesn't come thru. i would have your lawyer or employer monitor the status of the application carefully within the first 2 weeks

Thanks for the response. Can it be the case that the lawyer responds to the email from DOL? The HR is clueless about the process, he says that they work on it and he reponded to several emails early last week.Does not know if the PERM is filed and does not remember email from DOL. The lawyer refuses to talk to me at all (because the employee is not supposed to participate in the process!!!). I am beyond frustrated right now, and have no clue if this PERM is even filed.

when i filed mine back in august of 2006, my attorney told me that the email has to go to the employer, and that the DOL will not allow the attorney to respond to the sponsorship email - things may be different now.
