Guys I really need you help!!!
I`m getting ready to file perm as a manager/mechanic . My question is should I do recruitment under non professional occupation since my position doesnt require degree. I already have one approved labor certification on march 2004 but my emplyer set me up and never file 1-140 so I have to start everything again. I`m so depressed because I worked for him for 2.5 year as a cheap slave and here I am with nothing left.
here is my story:
came to usa in 1995 as A2
visa expired in dec 2000
my dad got sponsor but the case took so long that by the time it was time to file for adjustment of status I was over age. My whole familly got the green card
but not me.
In april 2001 I filled my own labor certificate under section 245i since I was out of status for 3 months. I waited 3,5 year for LC to be approved and my employer never file 1-140 .
I had work auth. for 7 years but in 2002 they did not renew it because of some changes of law.
I`m really lost pleas advise !
I have 5 years experience working for Pep Boys and Midas as a service manager and mechanic from 97-2002. My only concern is that for the last 2.5 year I worked as a manager/mechanic without auth. so what shoud I write in my perm application when they ask for employment for the last three years.
PLESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS HELP !!!
Now I have new sponsor who is willing to file perm for me . I `m grandfather beneficiary of labor certificate filled before April 2001 under section 245i so I should keep my previous priority date. Am I eligible for Perm??? pleas help
