Perm Feild of Study

My employer is filing my perm application. The job requires a bachelors degree and 1 year expereince.The bachelors degree can be in any feild but the expereince is required. On the perm application for Question H.4-B Major feild of study they have entered "Any Feild of Study" and for Question 7. Is there an alternate feild of study that is acceptable they have entered "Yes" and answered Any Feild of Study.

Is this a problem? please advise if there is a better terminology that covers any feild of study.

It is a computer programmer job any field will not fly at all.

Thanks for the reply. The job title is telephone and data customer support. The job includes providing telephone and data network customer support. Troubleshooting problems and working with vendors to cordinate telephone and data communications work. The job requirement is a bachelors degree and one year expereince in telephone and data customer service. They have not been able to find anyone with 1 year expereince in telephone and data communications customer service. I had the expereince prior to joining the company in a similar enviorment.

The job title and description does not requires a BS degree to do the job.

Vocational education holder with little or no training can very well do this job. Better try to change the job description. OR make it field as Telecommunication
