Verify with your future company If your already placed job order with SWA for a position that you are going to join as and with the salary that you are being offered. If yes, they can file for your labor immediately. To be sure ask for print outs of job order with SWA. They can file for Labor if 30 days have passed after SWA job order is placed for 30 days a total of 30 days and they should have already placed two sunday ads and atleast two professional ads.

Looking at the list (which is grwowing longer) is very hope inspiring. While 'in process' sounds dubious - I am hopeful it will not mean a slow down, just another way of naming things.

Yes I received my Hard copy on 25th. Today I got the copy by mail from my employer. Well it had 9 pages and required me to sign on one of them.Will I receive anything more ?

MainGC,

I did receive one page letter saying it has been certified. I am not sure whether you have rec'd this letter( of notice) before you got the hard-copy?
You are gonna get a copy of this letter in the future, if you haven't got one.

I did get the letter from DOL about the approval. But does it say EB2 or EB3 anywhere ? I wasn't sure about that......

Between did you sign on anything before the application was sent for processing ?

OK Guys.... It is my time to say, I am happy today.

I received hardcopy in the weekend. My lawyer sent a page of ETA 9089 (Labor form) for my signature, on the bottom it shows my case number and page is 8 of 14.

Firstly Congrats and good luck for I-140/I-485!

Question(s)
All of you have mentioned that you have EB-2 or EB-3. I thought the question of EB-2/EB-3 comes into play only during the I-140 stage. (Though the I-140 information must be consistent with your PERM application).

Does your certified Labor *hard copy* explicitly state some where if it is EB-2 or EB-3?
If so, where?
If not, how can one say EB-2 or EB-3?

I know that the certified labor has to be signed by the employee.

Did you guys receive it at
A: home address or
B: did your lawyer get it
C: employer got it?

Did you sign it?

EB2 or EB3, there are lot of discussion on this so far. Let me say my version of it with my limited knowledge of expertise.

Labor old or new PERM doesnot say your labor is approved for a category, but it is the first step for your EB2 claim in I-140 approval. Based on the job title and progressive experience shown on the labor in a particular skill area gives lot of evidence to prove that one can be eligible for EB2 category.
Above being said, first your company should be able to sponser in EB2 category and then lawyer should be convinced to file in that category, then obviously we will be willing to file EB2 or even less.

Employee don't receive certified copy from labor dept.
B: did your lawyer get it
Lawyer, sure if he is involved.
C: employer got it?
Sure. he gets it.

Did you sign it?
I got only the page 8 of 14, when my signature was required

Is the hard copy for you to keep?
It really depends on you and your employer understanding, if you don't get all the pages like me, you can ask him to make a copy and send it to you.

i have 3 yrs exp before current employer, and im with the current employer for
past 4.5 yrs.... sticking in one place is hurting me :(
