PERM bending- travelling outside US

Hi folks,

I am on H1-B visa since 2008. PERM was filed on December 2008 and still waiting. My company wants to send me for a work assignment for one year outside USA starting July/Aug 2008.

Is there any impact (interruption) on the G.C. process, overall, if I considered this assignment or could the process resume during that?

Does it make any difference if I received a response (positive) on the PERM application before travelling? Any expected interruption on the process for consequent step?

Your PERM is not bendable per your posting.

PERM is just department of Labor cerification nothing to do with your current immigration matter. You can travel and stay outside US.
