For a professional position, my lawyer recommend two sunday ads in a newspaper instead of one newspaper and one megazine. I was told it would be a stonger case by doing so. Appreciate your comments. Thanks.

For a high school teacher, Is it required to SWA(State Workforce Agency) job posting to file application under PERM?

For anyposition through PERM, SWA job posting is mandatory,

You are lucky. Through normal and RIR process, if DOL feesl suspicious about the employer recruitment effort, you have to post the advt in SWA and you must give EDD/SWA address Po box no(not employer address). If any body appy to the job, the SWA will forward all the application received by them and forwarded to Employer to conduct the interview.
Then you have to call everybody and conduct interview and document the interview and selection process.

I have done this only once, there is a way to eliminate the locals and documenting them and submit to EDD/DOL to get LC approved. Here unless there is an audit you don't have to worry.

Your attorney is correct.

My attorney is the dommest one in the entire world I guess....How could he not know the SWA job posting is required component of ads in PERM processing in the first place. After more than two months of posting other ads(newspaper, journal and school website), now he realized that SWA job posting is needed.....and wait another 30 days to get this done.....
I have feeling that I might get my LC approved from Backlog sooner (PD August 2002) than from PERM with this lawyer........

I think yours must be his first PERM? Let his learning curve start from Mayat's one.How could he not know the SWA job posting is required component of ads in PERM processing in the first place.
