Dear All,
I came to US in the 2001 with a H4 visa and started 4 years BS courser. When I was in 3rd year was turning to 21 I got my visa status changed to F1 and continued my studies. Now I am in MS and will complete my course in 2007. How ever I will be on OPT for 1 year and would get my H1 processed though an employer
I heard that one can stay in us for 6 years continuously in H1 and H4 combination. When I start working on H1 B, 6 years clock starts fresh or, I can only stay in US for a period less than 6 years with the calculation of pervious H4 period?
