Pending i140 - TN Renewal

Is it safer to get TN renewal via mail when the I140 is pending ? OR its the same if one gets it renewed at a POE ?

Any experiences in such situations ?

I am debating how to get my TN renewed.

Its a saw-off.

At the border you say nothing, they ask nothing, and they will renew your TN, cheap and easy.

By mail, you must indicate that an I-140 has been submitted, but they are under explicit orders not to deny on that basis. You pay, and you wait....

I am inclined to go to the POE for renewal.

However my concern is that they might ask about I140. What do I say ? Has anyone gone to the POE to get the renewal with pending I140 ?

I did. they didn't asked anything. the last TN i did was in 10Feb08

if they ask its not even your's petition, its your employer's.

I got the TN extension by going to the POE for 3 years. Was a bit apprehensive becoz of the 140 stuff, but no one asked. Took 45 mins to get the whole process wrapped up.
