I WAS WONDERING IF NE ONE HAS EXPIRENCED A PENDING I-130?

I READ ON THE USCIS SITE THAT A I-130 WILL BE APPROVED OR DENIED AND SENT TO NVC WHERE IT WILL STAY UNTILL THERES A VISA READY WELL BUT I DON'T KNOW Y IT IS STILL PENDING......

WELL I CALLED THE 1 800 NUMBER AND THE LADY SAID I WOULD RECEIVE A DECISON IN JAN OR FEB? I TOLD HER MY CASE WAS TRANFERRED FROM TSC TO CSC IN SEPT OF 2006 BUT ORGINALLY FILED IN 2001 FOR SPOUSE UNDER 21 (GC HOLDER) SO I DONT KNO IF I SHOULD BELIEVE HER OR NOT?

NE ADVICE WOULD BE HELPFUL

The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN that was transferred to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location is now pending there. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done, counting from when USCIS received it. This case is at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

Now a days USCIS approve a petition when visa date is current. Moreover they made some changes recently to consolidate one kind of petitions at one service so I think as visa is current for you so it should be approved in next couple of months.

and y is my appl still pending?

thanxs for replying

ORGINALLY FILED IN 2001 FOR SPOUSE UNDER 21 (GC HOLDER)

first of all, it does not matter how old the spouse is...

second, if the application has not been approved or denied, then it's still pending.
