** Pending 485 Eb3 Cases Affected By Priority Date Retrogression **

NSC director Fax number

Now NSC is processing cases with RD >01-Jan-2003. My RD is 01-Nov-02 and my PD is 21-Mar-02. 2nd FP was completed on 28-Oct-04.

I would like to fax NSC director with my information. Can somebody tell me the fax number? (One of my friend told me that fax is better then inquiring by phone).

folks, any update on cases filed on ur before Jun 2002? also any lucky people who escaped retrogression and have their 485 approved even if PD is not current?

House expected to vote today or tommorrow(05/05/05)...Senate would vote on May 9th after their return from recess!....Hope this becomes a law before the final quarter or FY2005...Else the 27% limit would throw a spanner in the works, starting FY2006...

Started GC Process on
Jan 27 2004(PD) -->LC got cleared on May 2004
Concurrent 140 & I 485 Sep 1st 2004
Got EAD's Sept 2nd week 2004.
RFE 140 on Nov 2004,replied Feb 2005 got cleared on March 2005
FP done on April 2005.

I came across
"Categories that are retrogressed could be pushed back further or become all together "unavailable."

1) More Retrogression-->"Visa numbers all together unavailbale"

What does it mean ,does USCIS say after H1 period(6years) we have to go back..

Coming to my case ,am i OK as i already had EAD.

2) Does issuing an EAD means nothing but Visa number?

Can any of the forum friends shed a light on above?

You can either use EAD or go on extending your H1B.

EAD is not visa number. It is mere authorization to work. It is some temporary solution do to your job until the final decision on your green card is made. As of now you need not worry about going back since you have applied for the GC. It will be approved once your date becomes current. You need to keep on renewing EAD until you get GC.


Visa number is entirely different which should available to apply/approve the GC.
 
My PD is Feb 2002. I filed 140/485 concurrent with RD Nov 1 2004. 140 was approved two weeks ago. Will they process my 485 soon or I still need a long waiting? thanks!

your case will be decised when VSC processes cases filed in Nov 2004. check the website for their current processing dates.

If it doesnt go backwards, I wouldn't expect any forward movement either. Will prolly be same dates still.

I've read in other forums and other websites that unfortunately there is not going to be big relief for EB3 folks in next few visa bulletins. Please share your views here if have any news on future EB3 retrogression.
 
Where is August Visa bulletin?

Its already 7/18, where is Aug Visa bulletin? are they gonna release it or we assume there is no change since July bulletin?

Update

I just want to give a update on my case.

My and my wifes 485/ead/AP were sent on 6/22/05 in EB3 . I did not get any of the receipts.
The checks got cleated on July 5.

I got today the FP notice for me and my wife to be done next week. Question when I will get the receipts. Should my wife's 485/ead/ap receipts coem to my home?

Please help. Will it be a issue if I go for FP with only FP notice.
