Hi,
I have been working with a comany for more than 3yrs and recently i got my GC.My project got over on jan 31st,by knowing the fact he stopped my payment for payperiod dec15th to jan 15th.Once i came on bench he started asking me to come to his office and do the stuff which is not related to the area of my expertise,in order to pay me.He still didn\'t pay me from dec15 th -jan 15th pay period for which i worked on the client site.
when ever i was asking hin to pay he ws giving me the all kind of nonrevelevant answers and at last he terminated me.
I didn\'t get my pay for more than 2months .now when iam asking him to pay my salary he is saying that he has an agreement(which he forced me to sign)
which says if i leave the company i have to pay for my gc and on that reason now he is not paying me.
Can any one on this forum has gone through the same??
How should i get my unpaid pay back??
DO you guys know any good labour lawyer in DC metro region.
