Passport stamping?

I had been for passport stamping on 30th May 02.
The took all my stuff and asked to come on 14th June 02 for stamping
Is this common @ all local INS or only in Boston.

RD: 30th July 02
AD: 16th May 02

I heard that the Newark office is doing passport stamping...

I am also interested. I hear some cases like Jai Surya who got stamped on the same day at Newark. So what is the deal now? Do they on random days just ask people to come back on some other day?

At least in this case they gave a definite date to come back on. The may 15th victims were asked to wait for a phone call.
