passport request

Hi all,

I have recieved a letter of Passport request from CIC for my mother-in-law. But they have mailed the letter to my lawyer in Canada and now I have 2 concerns:

1. Do we have to use the grey envelope (provided by buffalo Consulate which came along with letter) and send them through regular mail ?
2. We can use the courier servives like Fed-ex/ DHL . (with/ without the grey envelope? )

How much time does it takes to recieve the papers after this step?

YES, your lawyer should know about it if he/she does not know ask your fees back from him/her they are supposed to know and provide you the best service


I know few people have got the Passport back in 10-15 days

The lawyer will know how to send it.. Ginnu is right.. The requestletter also clearly mentions the same. I recd my passport in exactly 3 weeks last month.
