Passport ID Card is being issued since Feb 08

If you've passport card, you have been already judged to be a person of good moral character. :D

unless you know some way of getting it without interview.
 
i have one of these. it states when you get it that it is not be used as proof of citizenship. but most people will probably take it as that, but its not a formal piece of id for proof of citizenship. just to cross mexican and canadian borders by land and sea too i believe. mine is called the enhanced drivers license
 
I think that an enhanced driver license and a passport card are on different categories when it comes to proof of citizenship. The passport card is issued with the same documentary evidence as a passport and as far as I know it is good proof of citizenship.
