passport copies with form I-485?

do we need to send passport copies and visa page copy with I-485 based on asylum.

or just I-94 and approval letter copy.

anyone who already have applied for green card please help me? i am doing by myself so dont know
 
My friend who just applied today sent copy of passport(just the front page with info,visa,i94 and last page).
Copy anything that has info in it.

Follow the instructions on the USCIS website. All you need is proof of asylum approval, proof of one full year residence in the U.S., and medical report and of course the application and the appropriate fees.

although perhaps sending passport is not required at this point in process,
but it is better if you still send the copy of your passport just to make sure there are no delay.
making copy of passport is not expensive, it will be worth it.

I am wating for mine too, applied on feb 8th, 2013.
