Folks - I just renewed my passport for the first time since receiving my GC. Do I need to notify anyone (USCIS, etc.) of this change?

Thanks guys. Although this was the response I expected, I find it surprising that they wouldn't care. I guess they have "identified" us already and could care less about our passport

They will record your passport number the next time you use it when entering the US. Other than that, you don't need to inform them of your new passport.
