Hi All,
I live in Atlanta, GA and have been working for Axiom Corporation since 2 years. I am on a H1b visa and filed my Green Card Labor is filed with DOL GA on 04/05/2004. Recently, Synergen a California based company bought over our product along with its development staff and the rest of Axiom will be moving out and operating from a seperate location. I come under the group of Axiom bought over and operated by Synergen. Our new management asked me to ask my current immigration lawyer about what has to be done in my case. My lawyer has been too busy and replied to me after few strong emails. He told me my h1b still remains with Axiom, I need to fill out my new company's i-9 form with Axiom's filed H1b i797 number and my Green Card process also continues and Synergen need not do anything about this. I am still not comfortable because, if I need to travel at the immigration do I need to tell them I work for Axiom or Synergen?? My lawyer is too busy to answer my questions. Will my GC labor actually continue? If anyone has answere, it would be great.
Thanks,
Chandrakanth
