Parents visiting from India as I apply for citizenship within 6 months

I'm an Indian citizen (unmarried) and have had GC for 4.5 years. I plan to apply for citizenship in Jan 2013. My question relates to my parents' visit to US in the next month on a 10-yr tourist visa.
Specifically,

1) A year ago my parents obtained 10-yr visa to US to visit my brother (non-GC Indian citizen) who lived in US at the time on H1-B visa. Since then my brother has moved back to India and no longer lives here. Can my parents use the same visa (issued last year to visit my brother that also mentions my brother's now-expired US address) to visit me, or do they need to something more?

2) Does their visit to my residence for the next 3-4 months have any effect on my citizenship application in Jan 2013?

3) I was issued GC in 2008 while I was at a different company (job-2) than the company (job-1) that sponsored my GC under EB-2. I was on AOS for more than 6 months at job-1 when I switched to job-2. Within a few months of being at job-2 my GC arrived. However, after a year of getting my GC I was laid off from job-2. Since then I had a few months of unemployment and a few other subsequent job changes. I have been in US the whole time (no international travel) since 2008.
Does the layoff and subsequent job changes affect my citizenship application in any way?

Sorry for the long post.. I will appreciate if you could point out any issues in the above.

Thanks for the reply.

Is it possible for the parents to only book ticket for the onward journey (from India to US as their return date is yet undecided) without any immigration problem at the port-of-entry? This may cause port-of-entry issue if a one-way ticket is seen as immigration intent.

That would not be a good idea. Visitors should always be in possession of a return ticket.

You are trying to follow SO obvious scenario, so the CBP officer will solve it instantly. :)

If they are coming in Sep, max they can stay only till Mar 2013. Buy a tentative return ticket , normally one change is allowed by most airlines for return journey with no cost.
