Parents left before Ext approved, what next?

Hello:

10/2007: I-539 recpt date
11/2007: I-94 exp date
03/2008: left USA after waiting for 120 days
06/2008: approval notice with new I-94 from Vermont

Parents have left USA after waiting for 120 days for decision on the visitor visa extension and then approved with the new I-94.

Are there any instructions on what to do next? Any links to reliable sources are very helpful.

What do I need to do with the new I-94 that came with the approval notice? Don't I need to send INS back the departure card?

No need to return it. Just keep it at a safe place. Make sure your parents keep their boarding passes safely. If they ever need to prove what day they left the US, they can.

What reason did you state?

What reason did you state for your parents extension application and for how long did you ask it for?

It matters not what goshga2's reason was. The only acceptable reason for your application for an extension is the actual reason that you (or your family member) needs the extension. You are asking that goshga2 assist you in submitting a fraudulent petition if you use his reason just because it was successful before.
