My friends situation is she overstayed here in the US for more than 90days, I would say about 3-5 yrs. She now wants to go back to her home country and leave the US for good. What does she need to do to leave the US.
All I know is that you just buy your ticket and go back home. Is there any restrictions or fines she has to pay for over staying? I know she will be banned for 10yrs. Any help would be great.

just wana ask that if some 1 having 10 year visitor visa overstayed by a few mnths and then left without surrendering i 94 in early 2003 and did nt fill out any form or was nt asked for i 94 at airport ,can he come again on the same visitor visa which is still valid .also how can he access his information from uscis, what info will they have for his departure

If you overstay your visa is considered automatically canceled.

so can any one obtain departure and other personal info from usci by requesting that and will they have it if no i 94 was surrendered?

If no I-94 was surrendered, person is considered to be present in the US. However, if USCIS wants to investigate, they can use flight manifests to know when someone left. Bear in mind, to prove that one is not an overstayer, the burden of proof is not on USCIS.
