I just got married a USC and getting ready w/ my documents for filing/interview...Do I need to show/present the original i-94 or a photocopy will do? I entered US yr 2001, and requested an extension w/c required me to surrender my original i-94. Unfortunately, just before they sent me the approved extension, I left the state where my previous address was, and neglected totally said extension. In other words, I don't have the extension notice nor the original I-94. I have my US visa B1-B2 and the stamp that I entered here legally. Are these enough proof? Pls. reply..Im worried about this.

Call the USCIS customer service line and ask them about your I-94. You must have had a case number when applying for extension, they will ask you for that number in order to track your I-94/ Extension.

For the application process, you definitely need to enclose your photocopied I-94 and at the interview they may ask to see the original.

Good luck.

fill out form I-102 and enclose a copy of the stamp from your passport and they will send you a copy of your original I94, the only thing is it takes about 3 months to recieve the copy of your I94!!!

You have to file I-102. I filed for one at the same time while filing AOS and today I got the approval for it so it will take about 3 months. Worst case if you go to Interview before receiving it at least you will have the Receipt Notice to show the IO.
