Original documents or copies?

Hello everyone,

Now I am going to start my journey with Neutralization (wish me good luck:cool:)
I am going to send them all the documents as a copy. During the interview, should I bring all the original documents or is't ok to provide the copies?

The reason is some of them like birth certificate back home. I could easily get copies from my parents through email.

what do you think guys?

Bring originals to interview if possible. It will be up to the IO to decide whether copies are sufficient.
Also, make sure you are applying for naturalization and not neutralization as the outcome will differ.;)

Good idea to request Tax transcripts thru IRS for 4 years (current/last 3), and make them part of the documentation that you carry with you for the Naturalization interview. You may not be asked for these , but you are better prepared carrying these with you.

You can request this information by filing FORM 4506-T Or calling their automated 800 no. It takes close to 10 business days for IRS to fulfill this request, so plan accordingly.
